Designed in New York City and Made in Italy, all accessories are made of pure rose scented jelly material. The collection includes shoes, handbags and accessories in 17 vivid colors with eco-friendly packaging.
The brand story is the one of a retailer turned fashion brand. In 2006 owners Carmen Sol Espejo and Sebastiano Di Bari opened a small shop on the white sandy beaches of Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. Since then, they expanded and they now own and manage a chain of 10 multi-brand designer stores inside Casa de Campo and other top resorts of the Caribbean. In 2016, Carmen Sol started to design a collection of accessories for their stores and the brand Carmen Sol was born. Due to the success in the stores, they decided to take the brand worldwide and in less than a year Carmen Sol is present in over 200 select stores around the world, becoming an important player in the segment of the affordable luxury.
In 2018 the brand is expanding the collection to swim and headwear and growing the distribution is key markets in Europe (Italy, France, Spain), the Middle East and South America.
In June 2018 the brand launched a fully 3D virtual store integrated in their website , creating a new innovative experience online. In June 2018 the first mono brand store opened its door in the US and in November 2018 the brand launched The Jelly Box, an innovative small shop concept at the Aventura Mall (Miami) and at the Hudson Yards (NYC).
The 2019-2020 retail strategy of the company has focused also in pop up stores in top destination in the USA with the opening of over 10 shops in 2019 and 2020, including destinations such as Palm Beach FL, Newport Beach CA, New York City NY, Boca Raton FL, Brickell FL, Short Hills NJ, Greenwich CT and internationally in Cascais, Portugal. The company manages also manages to date the historical destination in Casa de Campo and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
